Potential advocates want to see the climate data behind the social dialog. The members of our Science Alliance help to keep the facts at the forefront of the conversation. Climate scientists, glaciologists, hydrologists, historians and economists from some of the world’s finest research and educational institutions, the members of POW Science Alliance help the POW community understand and communicate the state of the science.

As a doctoral student in ecology, I am confronted with the implications of our climate crisis on a daily basis. This created the strong desire for me to change something in my life and decrease my own contribution. After joining the climate movement and changing my lifestyle in terms of consumption or diet, I soon realised that a huge part of my carbon footprint comes from travelling for my favourite sport - climbing. Therefore, I am constantly trying to reduce the amount of time I spend in my car and instead travel by bike and train. I joined POW to raise my voice for a sustainable lifestyle, spread awareness about the climate crisis, and together continue to work on sustainable solutions for living our passions in the outdoors.
