POW Europe is powered by people and partners who believe in the same thing: protecting the places we love from climate change. We call them our Alliance — a collective of leaders from across sectors: athletes, brands, creatives, and scientists. Together, they combine expertise, reach, and influence for impact that matters.
It’s going to take everyone to solve the climate crisis.
WHAT IS AN ATHLETE ALLIANCE?
The Athlete Alliance is the voice of the outdoor community. From the mountains to the trails, our athletes use their platforms to advocate for climate action, represent POW in the media, and inspire others to protect the places they love.

WHAT IS A BRAND ALLIANCE?
Our Brand Alliance unites outdoor and sustainability-driven companies that use their platforms, products, and voices to drive climate action. Together, we co-create campaigns, fund key projects, and help shape the narrative of a low-carbon future for the outdoor community.

WHAT IS A SCIENCE ALLIANCE?
Our Science Alliance connects POW with leading researchers and experts across climate science, glaciology, mobility, and energy. They ensure our campaigns are grounded in facts, translating complex science into clear, actionable insights for policymakers and the public alike.
One great example is DOWNSTREAM, a joint science and film project that explores the far-reaching impacts of climate change. The project follows Dr. Juliette Becquet, a French hydro-ecologist who grew up in the shadow of Chamonix’s retreating glaciers.

WHAT IS A CREATIVE ALLIANCE?
The Creative Alliance is made up of designers, filmmakers, writers, photographers, and storytellers who bring the movement to life. Through powerful visuals, words, and ideas, they transform climate data into culture — inspiring people to act, not just care.
Each year, we feature one of our Creative Alliance members in our Impact Report. It is an opportunity to showcase different creative styles to amplify our mission to the wider outdoor community.
